According to a report I have read, BSkyB’s Sky Arts channel has signed up for HBO's “In Treatment” and that the drama series will air starting October.

I’ve read about this, too. The series, which won the Golden Globe and the Emmy, will be aired every night for 30 minutes. Then a full repeat will be shown at 10p.m. on Sundays. Isn’t that great? Can’t wait!!!

I have heard about “In Treatment” a couple of times, but what is this show really all about?

In Treatment is a TV series whose theme focuses on psychotherapy. The show follows psychoanalyst Paul Weston (played by Gabriel Byrne) and captures sessions with his patients. “In Treatment” is a show that steps into the “tangled” mind of a guy who earns a living by counseling other people. I think this show is provocative and very realistic, in such a way that a lot of us actually rely on the perspectives and the advice of experts and specialists who have their own inner demons to fight against. It’s a reflection of real life and of its dynamics.

Just a little bit of trivia: Mark Wahlberg is one of the executive producers of this show.
