| virgin Media reported that they have 20,400 new subscribers to its various TV packages, and 5,100 new broadband subscribers while losing 4,300 home phone users in the first three months to June 2009. The company also reported a net loss was GBP49.3 million. |

| Ooooh... Virgin media is really getting battered, especially if you compare them to Sky's great performance in the same period. |

| Actually, Virgin seems to be losing steam. That 20,400 new additions to its TV service is way less than the 30,600 in the previous quarter. Its broadband section paints a more dismal picture, that 5,100 new additions for the 2nd quarter is really depressing considering that the company had more than 47,000 new additions in the 1st quarter. |
