Yup that's true. Virgin1 will move from Arqiva's Multiplex D which shows Virgin1 for only 12 hours to SDN, which will show it 24 hours a day.

Additionally, the Virgin1+1 service will be launched on SDN later this month.

So what will happen to Virgin's channels on Freeview, will it change? Or will it stay the same?

Virgin1 is still at number 20... but I don't know about Virgin1+1... they probably don't have a channel number at the moment.

That a great development for SDN. They add Virgin to QVC and Channel Five.

It's great for ITV too, ITV owns SDN and rumors have it that they are looking at selling SDN as part of its efforts to restructure its finances.

I've heard that rumor. Apparently, ITV will be able to raise some £200 million if the SDN sale pushes through.

That would give them quite a hefty profit, considering they bought SDN for around £134m only four years ago.
