Default BSkyB Signs Transponder Deal with SES Astra

BSkyB will still be on SES Astra, as the two companies signed a transponder deal. 24 transponders will be allocated to Sky on Astra’s 28.2 degrees East.

That's great! That would bring the number of transponders allocated to Sky to 55. I guess Sky's 9 million subscribers deserve it.

I agree. The fact that the agreement is long-term speaks of their trust for each other. I really think that SES Astra is one good provider to deliver Sky's content, especially its HD broadcasts.
