That's great news. Velocity1 will also provide Internet access and voice calls service to the residents in the area.

It's not surprising that around 96% of the residents in the area have taken up the offer. What's more, Velocity1 expects to be able to provide service to more than 12,000 in the area.

I heard that Sky will be providing 16 premium channels from its Sports and Movies portfolios, that's on top of its 11 basic channels including Sky Arts, Sky News and Sky1.

Velocity1 is a joint venture between Industria, a fibre optic provider and Quintain, a property developer. They have their own service, but they also integrate services from national telecoms providers to make sure that their residents have a choice.
