| BSKYB has said that they will not join a consortium of news outlets that is currently bidding to replace ITV's local news programs, saying that the move is 'inconsistent with our reputation for independence'. |

| Yeah. I heard that Sky even cautioned Ofcom to make sure that the public funding scheme wouldn't affect commercial relationships between other regional news providers in the country. Also, Sky said that Ofcom should make sure that consumer choice is not reduced and monopolized. |
