| You need to test that you are receiving both signals and they are of reasonable quality. To Do this Press Services then system setup then signal test. You can now see the signal strength and signal quality for both signals, they need to be over 50% to record and watch at the same time, if they are not it could be interference from trees ect. It could also be caused by a poor connection from the dish lnb or the connection to the sky box. The dish also could have not be correctly alligned or water may have got into your cable run. If you are receiving a NO signal message try resetting the box by following the instructions below 1. Turn the power off at the mains socket. Either do this by pulling the plug from the socket or using a power switch if there is one. 2. Remove the viewing card from the machine. Using a dry cloth or kitchen roll, clean the gold connector on the reverse of the card. Do not use any cleaning products. 3. Check cables and connectors and in good order 4. Wait for at least 30 seconds. 5. With the card still out of the box plug the digibox back into the mains. 6. Ignore all the messages, and wait around for a minute 7. Try 101 for BBC One, 102 for BBC two and 103 for ITV 8. Insert the viewing card and wait a few seconds 9. Check 104 for channel 4 and 105 for Five If you are still receiving no signal your Lnb may have a fault try resetting the Lnb by following the instructions below 1. Press services number 4, 0, 1 and select to access the installers menu 2. Then Press 1 to go to the RF output Menu 3. Press down three times to the link that says 22 KHZ command and then press right to change the value to off. 4. Press down and select to save settings 5. Press the Sky Button at the top of your remote. 6. Again press services 4,0,1 select then 1 for the Lnb menu. 7. Now press the red button to reset all settings then go down until you can select save new settings again 8. Press Sky. If this does not work you may need to perform a software update details of how to do this can be found at www.satchat.co.uk/softwareupdate If you are still receiving a NO signal message after this the box or Lnb may be faulty and will need replacing |
