|  New Sky Plus Remote Design Sky have made a slight change to the sky plus remote. Even though the new Sky plus remote design is still Rev8 (Version 8) like the previous version they have decided to make the change. Previous changes were only due to updated codes but this change can only be down to the difficult back (Battery slide) the old version had. The new remote as you can see below has a silver template around the play and information buttons instead of the previous black template. The Battery slide at the back of the remote has grooves to aid sliding and the catch is a lot easier to use than the previous design. The new design is slightly bigger and the letters and words are all much larger which makes navigating a lot easier. Sky deserves a big well done on this because the previous back slide was causing many problem for customers many causing damage attempting to get the backing off. The larger words and letters are a nice touch as well, being friendlier to customers with visual impairments.  |
