To carry out a full software update, turn the power off at the mains press and hold the backup on the digi box NOT the remote, plug the box back back in while holding the backup button on the front of the box and wait for all the lights to come on. Once all the lights are on stop pressing the backup button. You should now receive a message on screen informing you of the update. The update takes roughly ten minutes and the box will reset when finished and power up again.
