It seems that the HDTV good news is continuing at Pace. The set top box manufacturer has reported a whooping 52% increase in sales to more than £1 billion for the whole 2009.

I've read about this too. What is more shocking is that the company registered a 405% increase in profits, and got more than GBP69 million for the same period. Things are really looking up for Pace. Thanks to their partnerships with Sky and 100 others!

Well, they have to thank the HDTV boom too. Without these, people wouldn't feel to need to upgrade their set top boxes. They also have sporting events to thank, like the FIFA that's coming soon!

And that is set to increase right? I think HDTV still has a lot of room for growth. Especially in the rest of Europe where they say, there's only a single digit growth in HDTV owned.

Can you imagine Pace sold 17.2 million units! that's like 31% better than 2008 unit sales.

I think Pace is a good success story. Too bad they sold themselves out...
