Hmmmn, if I'm not wrong, Rose is taking over Malcolm Wall's job right?

Yup, she is. Malcolm Wall, for those of you who forgot, left Virgin Media in March.

Rose would have a lot of things on her plate. Foremost is Virgin's struggle with getting subscribers. It seems that they are losing out to Sky (who wouldn't... they have had their best performance last quarter) and they need to beef up their services and do something to correct the situation!

Well, Virgin is capitalizing on its fast broadband technologies. I think that is why triple play is very important to them because they get to lure more new subscribers via their broadband service.

Rose has an impressive track record. She is a former lawyer and went on to become Disney's European counsel, and then regional MD for the UK as well as the Middle East. And then she managed Disney's Internet operations in Europe.
