Astra will not pull out from Spain

After being hounded by rumors that it will pull out its operations in Spain, Astra Marketing Iberica has announced that it will not leave the Spanish market.

The company has been criticising the Spanish government for offering preferential treatment to its competitor, Hispasat. Hispasat has been given the right to license satellite DTT distribution in uncovered areas

also, Abertis Telecom, Spain's main TV distribution network is Hispasat's main shareholder!
