There are plans of discontinuing ****ogue TV and force everyone to go digital. In the UK, there is an estimated 1% of households which will not switch to digital TV.
From how I see it, it means the demise or at least lower penetration for terrestrial TV. Digital TV gives its users multichannel choice, and they will be exposed to a wider range of viewing.
