Default Have you seen Alice in wonderland 3D?

Yup, it's out. It's a Tim Burton film, and stars his fave actors: Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.

I have read bad reviews about it. Apparently, this is not one of Burton's best work. Come to think of it... Burton has never been good at remakes, just take a look at Planet of the Apes and Willy Wonka... both are realllllly bad!

Hmmmn, I don't necessarily agree with that. Burton is really good, watchable and entertaining. Alice is no exception. This is like 3D the way it should be: coming-at-you action at every turn

Am not sure. The effects are great, the 3D is great, but there are times when I feel that the 3D effect was wasted on this scene or that. I mean most of the 3D here may be done without.

I really hate it when people watch a 3D movie and complain about having things coming at them. I think that Burton just gave you your money's worth! He threw things just right at you! which is what really should happen in a 3D movie, right???

I love Depp, but not here. His Mad Hatter is not mad... it's scary! Depp looks like an insane homeless drunk guy here, in every frame! And what was that love angle between the Mad Hatter and Alice???? Are you guys kidding me?

I think that it was confusing that Burton treated this material as a "sequel". There were some characters that were not introduced properly, they just appeared. And with Alice being an amnesiac... it's just a convenient ploy!

Well, the box office tally is out, and Alice in Wonderland has cemented the claims of 3D enthusiasts that 3D is the way to go. The movie earned $62 million in its second week, admittedly, almost half its opening weekend, but it's still number 1 in terms of audience share.
